How Laudiva handles reviews

Our public policy on how we collect, verify, rank, and display business reviews.

How reviews are collected

Laudiva displays third-party reviews imported from platforms like Google.

How reviews are verified

Third-party reviews (Google and others) are verified by the originating platform. Laudiva never edits review text; selection and ordering are disclosed on every widget.

How reviews are selected and ranked

Laudiva's default ordering uses AI scoring to put the most helpful, detailed and specific reviews first within each star rating: a relevance score blending recency with AI-assessed helpfulness (specificity, detail, authenticity), not positivity. The star ratings are then mixed in proportion to their share of the reviews the widget holds, so the order reflects that mix of ratings and sets none aside. A business can instead set a widget to show the newest reviews first or the highest-rated first; in those modes the date or the rating decides the order and the relevance score only separates reviews that would otherwise tie. Widgets that carry the ordering-disclosure line name the ordering they applied beneath their reviews. Not all reviews are displayed — each widget shows a limited subset, and businesses on any plan can pin reviews to the top. The aggregate rating shown reflects the full review set from the connected source, not just the displayed subset. A 'View all reviews on [platform]' link is included in every widget so visitors can see the full review set on the originating platform.

How aggregate ratings are calculated

The aggregate star rating shown in a widget reflects the full review set from your connected source — for Google, this is Google's own public rating and review count, not just the reviews individually displayed in the widget. For other sources, it is calculated from the reviews Laudiva has retrieved for that source, excluding hidden or flagged reviews where that data is available. This ensures the displayed average reflects the complete picture, not just the subset shown.
