FAQ
Can't find what you're looking for? Start for free and explore the dashboard.
Sign up, then click "Add business" in your dashboard. Enter your business name or paste your Google Maps URL — Laudiva finds your listing and starts pulling reviews automatically. No API key or Google Cloud project required.
One snippet, no developer needed, and your reviews appear in your dashboard in minutes. Sign up, add your business, copy the one-line embed script, paste it into your site. The widget goes live on your site once your domain is verified. Laudiva handles the rest.
No. Laudiva fetches reviews on your behalf — you don't need to create a Google Cloud project, enable APIs, or manage credentials.
Anywhere you can paste a script tag — WordPress and any plain HTML site. If you can edit the page's HTML, the widget works.
Reviews are synced automatically — monthly on Free and daily on Showcase (Google daily, Facebook weekly). Showcase can also use the Sync now button in the dashboard to pull new reviews, within the plan's monthly allowance.
Yes. On every plan you can pin reviews to always appear first. On all plans, the AI automatically selects and ranks your reviews from your full set (highest quality first within each star rating), filtering out fake, off-topic, or inappropriate ones automatically.
12 layouts on every plan, free included: grid, slider, list, floating, wall, ticker, badge, reel, mosaic, compact-strip, quotes, and rail. All layouts support light, dark, and auto (system preference) themes, and custom CSS overrides are available on every plan too.
No. The embed script has no third-party dependencies and loads your widget JSON from Cloudflare's global CDN. It loads asynchronously and never blocks your page.
Yes. English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese are all live. The widget UI, AI scoring, and review display all respect the locale.
Google is available on every plan. Showcase also supports Facebook. You can pull reviews from multiple sources into a single widget — the AI ranks them together, so your most detailed, specific reviews rank higher within their star rating, regardless of where they came from.
Showcase. Free includes the Google widget and AI curation; review request links — a direct link to your Google review form, shareable by email or on a receipt — come with Showcase, which includes 150 requests a month per location. More reviews on Google means faster local-pack visibility, plus a fuller widget.
Laudiva shows reviews from the sources we can connect and display properly: today that is Google, plus Facebook in beta on Showcase. The other platforms fall into a few groups. Some restrict how their reviews can be shown on other websites: Yelp, Trustpilot and Tripadvisor. Some offer no way to bring their reviews out so a business can display them: Avvo, Angi, Houzz, DealerRater and Zillow. Healthcare review sites such as Healthgrades are kept out at launch. We start with Google because that is where most local customers look for reviews. This describes what we support today; it is not a commitment to add any of these platforms.
Every review is scored for quality, specificity, and authenticity — would this review help a hesitant visitor decide? Your widget holds the reviews your plan stores, and the score sets their order: within each star rating, higher-scoring reviews come first.
On every plan you can pin specific reviews to always appear first, overriding the AI's default order. The AI's selections are a starting point, and its automatic moderation keeps fake, off-topic, or inappropriate reviews out of the mix.
Yes. Reviews in any supported language — English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese — are scored using a language-specific prompt to avoid cross-language bias. The widget renders in the matching language when locale is set.
On every plan, each review shows AI insight tags (Repeat Customer, Detailed) and highlight phrases that explain which parts of the review contributed to its score.
Laudiva is built for the US market it currently serves. In the US, the FTC Consumer Reviews Rule (16 CFR Part 465, effective October 2024) prohibits filtering reviews by star rating — Laudiva ranks by AI quality score (specificity, detail, recency) within each star rating, mixing the star ratings in proportion to their share of the reviews the widget holds, never by sentiment. In the UK, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA, Schedule 20, in force April 2025) sets equivalent obligations on fake reviews and ranking transparency — this page is our written policy, and our review sources are Google-verified with AI quality scoring publicly disclosed. Laudiva does not currently offer the Service in the EU; the EU Omnibus Directive (2019/2161) will be addressed before any expansion into that market. See our Reviews Policy for full details.
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit, no per-view charges, and no credit card required. Free covers one location with connected reviews, a monthly review refresh and the 25 most-recent reviews, and shows a small "Powered by Laudiva" badge — Showcase removes the badge and adds more locations, unlimited reviews and daily sync.
Per location. A business or location is billed when it has at least one connected review source — Google or Facebook; locations with no source are never billed. The per-location price drops at 5 locations, and annual billing gives you 2 months free. For 25 or more locations, contact us. The pricing page has the full price table.
Annual billing gives you 2 months free — you pay for 10 months and get 12. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. If you cancel an annual plan, your access continues until the end of the billing period.
No. We don't charge per view on any plan. No surprises mid-month.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Laudiva stores your Google Business Profile information (name, address, place ID) and the public review data (reviewer name, rating, text, date) that Google makes publicly available. No private customer data is collected.
The widget does not set cookies or assign visitors any identifier. When a visitor loads or interacts with the widget, a usage event is sent to Laudiva's analytics service — for example, when the widget loads, when a review scrolls into view, or when a link, photo, filter or the Laudiva badge is clicked. Each event includes the interaction type, the page domain, and the browser, operating system and device type derived from the user agent; the full user-agent string is not stored. Your visitor's approximate country is derived from their IP address via Cloudflare's geolocation and counted in separate records that carry no session or review identifier. Cloudflare's analytics store stamps each record with its write time, and we keep these counts long term only as daily totals. If you use the site-wide embed code, the widget also sends the full page URL so Laudiva can choose which widgets to show on that page. For rate limiting, Laudiva keeps a keyed hash of the visitor's IP, deleted from live storage within about 70 minutes (encrypted backups expire within 70 days); the raw IP is never stored. The widget does not collect visitors' names, email addresses or other contact details.
Sometimes. A review card can show a reviewer's profile picture, or a review video and its preview image, that Google hosts. When one is shown, the visitor's browser requests that file directly from Google, so Google receives the visitor's IP address and browser details. For profile pictures and video preview images the browser is told not to send the address of the page it is on; a review video is requested only when the visitor plays it, and that request may identify your website. Review photos are not loaded from Google: Laudiva copies them and serves them itself. See our Privacy Policy.
Laudiva currently serves US businesses only (see our Terms of Service). The widget itself sets no cookies and assigns visitors no identifier. The analytics events it sends carry the interaction type, page domain, and browser, operating system and device type — no names or contact details. With the site-wide embed code, the widget also sends the page URL to choose which widgets to show. Your visitor's approximate country is derived server-side from their IP address via Cloudflare geolocation; for rate limiting Laudiva keeps only a keyed hash of the IP, deleted from live storage within about 70 minutes (encrypted backups expire within 70 days), and the raw IP is never stored. You are responsible for any notice or consent your own visitors need under the law that applies to your site (see our Terms of Service). Your account data (email, business name) is processed under our Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account from Settings in the dashboard. This permanently removes your organization, businesses, widgets, and all associated review data. You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
The embed script loads asynchronously, so it does not block your page from rendering, and the widget JSON is pre-built and served from Cloudflare's global CDN. Your page's overall performance also depends on your own site, so we make no Core Web Vitals promise.
Yes. Add `script-src cdn.laudiva.ai` and `connect-src cdn.laudiva.ai events.laudiva.ai` to your CSP. The widget fetches its JSON from cdn.laudiva.ai and sends anonymous interaction events to events.laudiva.ai — no other external domains are contacted.
No. The widget uses Shadow DOM isolation — all widget styles are scoped inside a shadow root. No Laudiva CSS classes leak into your page, and your page's CSS cannot accidentally override widget styles.
Google allows anonymous users to suggest edits to business listings. Competitors or bad actors can change your phone number, mark you as permanently closed, or alter your hours. With listing monitoring on, Laudiva checks your listing daily on Reputation and emails you when we detect a change, naming each changed field with its previous and current value so you can correct it in your Google Business Profile.
