Review requests

Google review request software for local businesses

Email your customers a direct link to your Google review form, so they can leave a review without searching for your listing. Available on the Showcase plan.

How Google review requests work

1

Connect your Google listing

Add your business to Laudiva with its Google Place ID. Review requests need a Place ID that starts with ChIJ, because the write-review link is built from it.

2

Send a review request by email

Enter a customer's email address and send them a review request. The email carries a direct link to your Google review form.

3

Your customer writes the review on Google

The link opens the Google write-review form for your business. Your customer signs in to Google and writes the review there, in their own words.

4

Reviews can appear in your widget

New Google reviews can then show up in your Laudiva widget.

What is included

The Showcase plan includes 150 review requests a month for each billable location. The allowance is pooled across your organization, so a busy location can use what a quieter one does not.

The Free plan does not include email review requests.

What you need

Ask every customer the same way

Send the same request to every customer you serve, and leave the wording of the review to them. Their reviews are theirs: do not offer anything in exchange for one.

Laudiva does not screen out customers who had a poor experience. A review request has no satisfaction question first and no private-feedback step, so it avoids review gating, a practice that can break the rules Google sets for reviews.
